I myself love all forms of
climbing, from bouldering to sick alpine style accents. I realize that us climbers up here in Alaska, perhaps due to our
geographic location and many other human factors, find it kneejerk easy to pigeonhole ourselves and become what one may think of himself as a big fish in our small frozen pond. I hope to disintegrate this vibration of myself by traveling to other venues and climbing my buttocks off. Smiling and getting spanked on things I have
no business being on. To remember to be lowly wise, grin and learn for I live in the best damn state ever.
I so recommend climbing in Mexico, maybe some El Portero Chico limestone. Long sport routes on some really spectacular stone. If and when you find yourself in El Portero Chico, I highly
recommend you stay at Rancho Cerro Gordo. Mel, the owner of the place is everything good a man can be, truly a wonderful person.

Located in Socorro, NM. After I ignorantly broke my partner GeorgeAnne's forks, Karl helped us out with
the needed knowledge and friendly face to solve the problem, without killing our budget. A great shop and even greater owner,
thanks Karl! Also thanks Sam and friends!
